Nearly Perfect XBOX-PS2 Conversion Process

1. Download the 'PS2 Save Builder' program (do an internet search for it)
2. Obtain a legit PS2 roster file.
3. Obtain the targeted XBOX file.
4. Open the ZIP file that is the XBOX roster and find the largest file (may a few directories deep) It will be a .DAT file.
5. Copy that file to any location.
6. Open the PS2 file in Save Builder.
7. You will see a BASLUS file. Rename the .DAT file to whatever the name of the BASLUS file is (remove the .dat extension
also)
8. Right click and delete the BASLUS file in Save Builder.
9. Paste the new BASLUS (the old .DAT file) into the spot where the previous file was.
10. Save.
11. Open in Finn's editor and hit OK on the error that pops up. If no error message pops up, edit something -- anything -- on
the file.
12. Save.
13. Load with your flash drive and AR Max on the PS2.

Step 2: Converting PS2 saves to PS3                  PS2 to PS3 conversion guide was posted by Darkness King over at GameFaqs.com

This is a three year old post found after a quick google search. Things may have changed somewhat in the intervening period.

How to transfer PS2 MaxDrive/CodeBreaker/AR saves?

PLEASE Understand that there is no 'PSV Converter' yet.
If there is a PS2 save file you really want to play on your PS3 but there is no 'PS3 Virtual Memory Card Save' for it. There is
one way to convert it.

- Go dig up whatever cheat device you had (Sharkport? MaxDrive?)

- Download the save file that works on your cheat device. Unzip it
- Transfer the savefile to your PS2 with your cheat device

- Run out and buy a 'PS3 Memory Card Adaptor' for your PS3

- Transfer the save from your PS2 memory card to your PS3 using the newly bought PS3 Memory Card Adaptor
